The purpose of the Living History Association of Mecklenburg, Inc. is interested in educating people of the life and times of a civil war soldier through presentations, living history, and battlefield reenactments.

  Geary Shafer, Gary Casteel, Rex Hovey, Sam Scott Bob Etzler   dedicate new Gen Garland Trail at Fox's Gap  which leads to North Carolina South Mountain Monument.
